What color is that... 719 option? The tank cover looks bronze in the photo?

It's the Triple Black. It probably looks bronze from the light. The 719 is nice but a bit pricey with all of the billet doo dads and paint. The tank is not painted, it's clear coat over brushed aluminum. The clear shows the welds. They look like a perfect row of dimes, obviously done by a robot.

600 Mile "Running in Check" I did my own... Just an oil and filter change and a general check over...

Safe Travels my friend!

Thank you. Yeah, me too. I'm not going to have enough miles on it before I leave and I want the factory break in oil to do it's job. Plus, BMW covers the first break in service at any dealer as long as you don't go over 700 miles.

Pictures or it didn't happen!

😁

It's the only pic I have. Chose the only day it wasn't in the 20s to ride it home from Hermy's because I didn't feel like renting a trailer. Getting ready for Daytona. I have the first break-in service scheduled in Norfolk, Va. 🙃

Wait! Wait, Wait!!!

What's with the 1300 GSA in your signature???

We went to PJ's in our town, Doylestown, Pa., in spirit of the 450 after we returned home last year. We've never returned to NJ to finish, just because.

Ron,

I never heard about a "Finishers Pin"... We have always received a starters patch with our packet at the start.

As others have said PJ is out of the way for the homeward bound in most cases. (IMO) and after stopping for lunch on the route I know I am locked and loaded to get home the quickest way possible.

Now that the GPS Routes are emailed to all registered riders the week of the event they can just jump on the route anywhere they like.

Dennis and I went to PJ's last year. We were the only two.

I have gone to the "end" 4 times and no one has ever shown up.

Cherry Hill was kind of out of the way for the way home for most of the 450's, so it was annoying getting there and waiting/eating and nobody else comes.

I began skipping the end point on the last few and just beat feet home as I have another 70 miles to go after the "end".

So unless people actually commit to stopping at the end point...

I have also run into this very thing. My first 450 was 2023 before I joined and then did 2024 and 2025 as a member. In both 23 and 24 we made it a point to go to the "end" stop but found nobody there both years. In 2025 we decided to break from the route where it made sense and head home.

Looking for input...

All past NS450's have used PJ Whelihans in Cherry Hill as an end point... I don't know of anyone who has actually gone there but...

If anyone who wants to get together after this years 450 I am taking suggestions for a stop.

We will be back into Jersey by this point and headed South via 130/206/539

Wayne, for context and background. We always had a "ending location" to handout our finisher's pin. We discovered most people didn't care about them, so it sort of fizzled out. We used to provide a starter's patch and pin for each event. FYI

We've done a couple club breakfasts there.

I would offer up Prospectors in Mt Laurel NJ on Rt 38 as an Option. Its about 8 miles west of 206 or 2 miles east of 295. Very good food, large Bar area / Large outdoor patio and very big parking lot.

We are now live on ADVRider (Adventure Rider) with a flyer of the advent in both the North East Regional Forum and the Rallies Forum.
